Who we are

What this policy covers

This policy explains how the app handles audio you import, what information may be processed to run core features, and your choices. It applies to the iOS app and any in-app services linked from it.

Data we process

Audio you choose to process. When you import a song or record audio to remove vocals/instruments, the app uploads that file to a third-party AI processor to generate stems (e.g., vocals, instrumental). We do not access your library without your permission.
On-device files. Exported stems you save remain on your device or in your chosen storage location. We do not collect them.
Diagnostics & usage. The app may collect minimal, pseudonymous analytics and crash logs (e.g., screens viewed, session duration, error types) to improve performance and reliability.
Purchase data. If you subscribe, Apple processes the transaction. We receive non-personal subscription status (active/inactive, product, country) to unlock features.
Support messages. If you email us, we’ll process the contact details and content you provide to respond.

How audio processing works

To separate vocals and instruments, your selected audio is securely uploaded to a machine-learning service provider (for example, Replicate) solely for the purpose of creating stems. We do not sell or use your audio for model training.

Temporary processing. Audio is transmitted over HTTPS and processed temporarily. We do not retain copies on our own servers after the result is delivered.
Third-party retention. Our processor may temporarily cache files/outputs for reliability and abuse prevention in accordance with their policies. See their privacy terms for details.
Your control. You can delete exported files from your device at any time.

Why we process data (legal bases)

Provide the service (contract): to upload audio, run separation, and deliver stems.
Improve and secure (legitimate interests): to troubleshoot, measure performance, and prevent abuse.
Consent: where required for analytics or optional features; you can withdraw in settings or via your device controls.

Sharing of information

Service providers. We use vendors to run core features (AI processing, analytics, crash reporting). They act on our instructions and process data only to provide services to you.
Apple. Apple handles payments and may share non-personal subscription status with us.
Legal. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.
No third-party ads. We do not sell your data or display third-party behavioral advertising in the app.

Data retention

Audio sent for separation is kept only as long as needed to generate and deliver results. We do not keep copies on our own servers.
Analytics and diagnostic data are retained for a limited time necessary for troubleshooting and product improvement.
Support emails are kept as long as needed to address your request and maintain records.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including HTTPS in transit and hardened service providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we continually work to protect your information.

Your choices & rights

Permissions. You can deny or revoke access to your media library or microphone in iOS Settings at any time.
Access/Deletion. You may request access to or deletion of data we hold about you (e.g., support emails, analytics identifiers) by contacting redaboubkraoui@gmail.com.
Opt-out of analytics. Where applicable, toggle analytics off in the app settings or your device privacy settings.
Region-specific rights. Depending on your location (e.g., EU/EEA, UK, California), you may have additional rights such as portability or objection. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Children’s privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International transfers

We may process data on servers outside your country. Where applicable, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as contractual commitments) to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and, where required, notify you in-app.
