OCR Math Solver is an iOS application that helps users solve math problems using camera-based OCR technology. References to "we", "us", or "our" refer to the developer of OCR Math Solver.

2. Information We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to provide the service:

We do not collect: your name, email address, location, contacts, or any other personal identifiers unless you voluntarily provide them (e.g., when contacting support).

3. Camera & Photo Access

The App requests camera access solely to capture math expressions for solving. Images are processed to generate solutions and are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. You can revoke camera permission at any time in your iPhone's Settings.

4. In-App Purchases & RevenueCat

Subscription and purchase management is handled by RevenueCat, a third-party service. RevenueCat assigns an anonymous user ID to track your subscription entitlements. No payment information passes through our systems — all billing is handled by Apple.

5. How We Use Your Data

To provide and improve math-solving functionality
To manage your Pro subscription and entitlements
To diagnose crashes and fix technical issues
To understand how features are used in aggregate

We do not sell your data to third parties.

6. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with these third-party services:

RevenueCat – subscription and purchase management
Apple App Store – payment processing and distribution

Each third party is governed by their own privacy policy. We only share data with them to the extent necessary to operate the App.

7. Data Retention

We do not store your math scans or personal data on our servers beyond the immediate processing needed to return a solution. Anonymous analytics data may be retained for up to 12 months in aggregated form.

8. Children's Privacy

OCR Math Solver is suitable for users of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App does not require account creation or any personal information to use its core features. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Request deletion of your data
Opt out of analytics collection

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
